Eos is an all-business class trans-Atlantic airline, with their inaugural service in October 2005. Currently Eos serves New York JFK to London Stansted daily with the Boeing 757-200, and has announced plans to add an additional flight in September 2006.
Each passenger seat is also a 78-inch full-flat bed, one of the most spacious in any business class, and rivals many airlines' International First class. Each plane is outfitted with 48 identical seats, where most airlines packs in about 200 people in mixed classes. The window seats are quite private, however, access to the aisle is through a relatively narrow space between rows of aisle seats. With the relatively high partition, some enjoy the sense of privacy, while others might feel a little claustrophobic. Most people probably prefer the aisle seats for better accessibility, unless they want to sleep through the flight. Aisle seats also have a small storage alcove between rows of window seats that is just perfect for keeping things handy yet out of the way.
The built-in ottoman also serves as a guest chair, for dining together or working during the flight. The window passenger would have a bit more trouble getting to the aisle if the ottoman is occupied.
In-flight entertainment is via hand-held DVD players, one of the few weak areas in Eos' offering; most other International premium class offers AVOD (Audio Video On Demand) with built-in LCD displays.
Note that this seatmap is very preliminary, as Eos was still waiting for their own reference material. The actual locations of lavatories and galleys, as well as seat numbering is subject to change.
